The Growth Of Influencers: How Influencers Have Changed Marketing
Over the last few years, influencer marketing has become a huge network that has not only changed lives but formed communities. Motherhood & Lifestyle Influencers all over the world are sharing their lives, having fun, and creating memories and getting paid to do it. While that's nice it's not all about free products, travel, and money.
Influencing is hard work there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that your average person wouldn't understand until they try it. For instance, there are so many different types of influencers. Today there are many platforms for us to monetize on and it's all about finding what works best for you. For some people that means completely dominating on every platform there is, for others, it's finding the one or two that work for you and excelling. No one platform is the same they all take time and dedication to learning what goes into being the best on that platform, as an influencer you are always learning something new, studying trends, and trying to stay ahead of the curve.
As a motherhood & lifestyle blogger myself I have found that the platforms that I excel at are Pinterest which is by far one of my absolute favorites, Instagram, and my blog. Now I have a Twitter, Youtube, Tik-Tok, Facebook, and any other account you could possibly have but I just do what's working for me. Tik-Tok while I love it a lot of work goes into creating that 15-30 second content video. Tik-Tok influencers put in a lot of hard hours and behind the scenes work to create those videos that we love so much and spend all night scrolling down our for you page to watch.
Influencing is the new form of marketing because people love to see real and authentic. When you get ready to book a fancy vacation that you plan to spend your hard earned money on. Would you rather see pictures that the hotel took that don't show everything or, do you want to check out that cool lifestyle bloggers page to see all the behind the scenes stuff that you really care about? I personally want to see all the behind the scenes stuff, what they did, what they ate, where they went, so that I can make the most out of my trip. Companies are starting to realize that is what the people want so now what was once just a hobby to most has to turned into a booming industry and an amazing career.
Moms are now being able to provide opportunities to their kids that they never saw possible. They get to spend quality time with them, watch them grow, and still provide for their family in these hard times. I can personally say blogging and influencing had changed my life for the better and I can't wait to see where the next few years take me. I've met new friends, did things I never imagined myself doing, worked with brands I could only dream of working with it and I know the sky is the limit. This is only the beginning for influencer marketing, so if it's something you always wanted to do just go for it share your life, your story, your journey you never know who out there could benefit from it.
